Donate to Families in Need

Here are two ways you can donate to families impacted by ICE, who are in need of financial and community support.

  1. This GoFundMe for a local mother who has been a good friend to the Catholic Worker House since she and her family arrived in Harrisburg in 2022. Her husband has been in ICE detention for more than six months. Their family is in a lot of emotional, psychic, physical and spiritual pain and are relying on communal support to pay their bills. Please spare whatever you can for them and pass on this GoFundMe to others who may have the means to give a financial contribution, small or large, to this family’s ongoing fight to survive until their breadwinner comes home.

2. We are also helping the New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia gather funds for its community fund that helps post bond for our neighbors in ICE detention. New Sanctuary Movement recently posted bond for a neighbor who was able to leave Moshannon Valley Processing Center after more than one year in detention. Our neighbor was able to meet his infant son for the first time last week, thanks to the New Sanctuary Movement.
